Amazon released some serious heat with the new Kindle Fire HD. The pricing and features in this new lineup alone will create serious competition in the tablet space for the upcoming holiday season. Let alone the tablet space in general. Microsoft and it’s Windows 8 tablet manufacturers have a huge hill to climb now. I didn’t see the Kindle Fire as a direct competitor to the Surface tablet but reports have been published that the original Fire has garnered up to 22% of tablet sales to this point.
